Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Yuri Vardanyan had a meeting with Governor of the region Kvemo-Kartli Paata Khizanashvilii on June 29.

The sides discussed wide range of issues concerning the Armenians living in Kvemo Kartli.

Khizanashvili underlined the Armenians’ active role in the economic life of the region and assured that the Armenian community, along with its problems, is always under his attention.

The two sides expressed the hope that the close relationship between them will be continuous and will promote further cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

After the meeting, Ambassador Vardanyan and Governor Khizanashvili together attended the World Weightlifting Youth Championship in Tbilisi.
