On December 14, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan met with the representatives of the Armenian community of Georgia at Tbilisi Marriott Hotel.

More than 150 representatives of politics, art, culture and business circles from Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia took part in the reception.

In his opening speech, Ambassador Sadoyan noted that it is a great honor for him and at the same time a serious responsibility to be Armenia's Ambassador in friendly Georgia. He spoke about the centuries-old friendship and commonality of Armenians and Georgians and touched upon the role and significance of the Armenian community of Georgia in Armenian-Georgian relations.

In his speech the Ambassador of Armenia emphasized the importance of the unity of the Armenian community, assuring that during his diplomatic mission he will do everything possible to promote the unity of the Armenian community of Georgia.

Ruben Sadoyan also expressed gratitude to the Georgian authorities, noting that their kind attitude towards the Armenian community is always evident.

During the evening, Armenian composers performed the works of Komitas, Mozart, Sergey Aslamazyan and others.
