The meeting at the Embassy of Vatican

During the course of the meeting held on November 24 at Apostolic Nunciature of Holy See (Vatican City) to Georgia and Armenia was discussed the situation on the parcel of land in a village of Rabat of Akhaltsikhe district, where was occurred a problem regarding the preservation of found artifacts of Armenian origin.

In the meeting participated the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic if Armenia to Georgia Hovhannes Manoukian, Chargé d'affaires of Vatican Embassy Fr Filippo Ciampanelli, Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, the Catholic Latin Bishop Monsignor Giuseppe Pasotto, Apostolic Administrator of Caucasus of Latins and Father Gabriele Bragantini, Responsible for Culture and Ecumenism in the Apostolic Administrator of Caucasus of Latins.

Father Gabriel recounted about the progress of work, underlining that everything necessary is being done to keep intact the found artifacts in order they do not lose their historical and cultural significance.
