Meeting at the Patriarchate of Georgian Orthodox Church

On March 24, 2012 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Hovhannes Manoukian and heads of other diplomatic missions accredited in Tbilisi participated in a meeting with the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II. The meeting was devoted to 95-year anniversary of the restoration of autocephaly of Georgian Orthodox Church.

At the meeting, the representatives of diplomatic missions were acquainted with historical digressions regarding the activitiy of Georgian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Ilia II, as well as with inter-church relations in which the Georgian Church is involved.

During the reception the cultural program with Georgian national dances and musical opus "Agnus Dei" with authorship of Ilia II were introduced.
