The congress of the "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" party was held on May 14

 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia, Yuri Vardanyan attended the Congress of “Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia” ruling party which was held in the stadium of Tbilisi on May 14. The former Prime Ministers of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili and Irakli Gharibashvili, Parliament Members from all regions of Georgia and many other guests, including the heads of the diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Georgia also attended the Congress.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Georgia Kakha Kaladze, who is included in the leadership of the party, delivered a speech in the Congress and offered to elect the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili as the party chairman.

After the voting, the newly elected president of "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" party, who as it is already known, is going to head the party’s electoral list in the upcoming parliamentary elections, expressed confidence that "Georgian dream" will win in the next parliamentary elections on October 8.

The new elected president in his speech, among other things, referred to the party's foreign policy priorities, emphasizing that Georgia has adopted a policy towards the EU and NATO and will never deviate from this path, because it coincides with the expressed will of the Georgian people.
