Ambassador Yuri Vardanyan received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Javad

On July 18, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Yuri Vardanyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia Seyed Javad who visited the Embassy of Armenia in cognitive nature.

the sides discussed number of issues of mutual interest during the meeting. The interlocutors stressed the importance of Armenian-Iranian contacts and cooperation on all possible platforms, including the cooperation between the heads of diplomatic representations of Armenia and Iran in other states.

During the talk the sides touched upon the construction of the North-South highway, which will essentially contribute to the expansion of trade turnover and economic development both of Armenia and Iran.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
