Political consultations between Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Armenia and Georgia

On March 15, political consultations were held in Yerevan between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and Georgia. The political consultations were co-chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Ghalachyan and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Lasha Darsalia.

During the consultations the parties discussed a wide range of issues on bilateral agenda and of mutual interest, particularly, they exchanged views on maintaining the dynamics of political dialogue, development of bilateral trade and economic relations, interagency cooperation in transport, energy and humanitarian spheres.

The interlocutors touched upon the issues of regional security and stability.

During the meeting the sides stressed the importance of holding regular meetings and discussions in such a format.
