Joint Exhibition of Young Painters from Armenia and Georgia in Tbilisi

 On November 5, exhibition of paintings created as a result of a team work of a group of young painters from Armenia and Georgia – entitled “Shades of Tbilisi” - was held at “Hayartun” Cultural Centre in Tbilisi in association with the Embassy of RA to Georgia, Ministry of Diaspora of RA, Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.

In the frames of the event, 11 young artists from different regions of the Republic of Armenia and their six fellow Georgian painters had the opportunity to visit beautiful sites of Georgia and portray colourful pictures of autumn during their five-day stay. The paintings were showcased at the final exhibition sale.

One of the aims of “InterArtBridge” NGO, established by the young Tbilisi-.Armenian creators Lana Babayan and Gayane Manasyan, is to help young creators from different countries become closer and communicate with each other through culture.

Deputy Ambassador of RA to Georgia, the diplomat Vahagn Afyan, the representative of “Teletrade” company Armen Danielyan, the head of the cultural department of the Regional Administration of Shirak, RA and the president of “Art for Piece” NGO Gor Margaryan and others made speech during the event.

The executive director of “InterArtBridge” NGO and President of the International Association for Participants of the Pan-Armenian Games  Gurgen Heyranov gave letters of gratitude to all assistants on behalf of the organization.    

 Proceeds from the exhibition sale, with charitable aims, were transferred to the children’s relief fund of district Gldani in Tbilisi.
