Ambassador Vardanyan’s meeting with Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia

On January 20 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of RA to Georgia Yuri Vardanyan had a meeting with Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia David Sergeenko.

At the beginning of the meeting David Sergeenko offered his condolences to the Armenian Ambassador on the tragic event occurred in Gyumri on January 12.

Ambassador Vardanyan expressed his gratitude to the Georgian Minister for the condolences and said that murder of the Avetisyan family was a strong shock which his hometown Gyumri and the whole Armenia had not experienced since the catastrophic earthquake of 1988.

Turning to the subject of the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation issues and exchange programs of the two countries in the field of public health. It was agreed that heads of health departments of the two countries would hold exchange visits.

The meeting ended in a warm atmosphere.
