                Dear Compatriots,

I would like to congratulate you on the occasion of New Year and Christmas and wish you and your families happiness, prosperity, peaceful and safe life, as well as realization of dreams and goals.

I wish that all your expectations come true in the coming year and hope that this year will bring happiness to our country and nation.

It has become a kind tradition to sum up the events of the outgoing year on the New Year's Eve, as well as to evaluate achievements and based on the existing experience make future plans with optimism, hope and faith.

2015 has been a significant historical time period for the Republic of Armenia and Armenians worldwide. The 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was widely commemorated in various countries populated by Armenians. Armenians in Georgia have been actively involved in commemorating events.

St. Gevorg Armenian Apostolic Church located in the center of Tbilisi reopened in the honourable presence of the delegation headed by the President of RA and senior officials of Georgia, gathering under its vaults Armenian believers of Georgia.

At the end of the year the educational-cultural center named after Alexander Mantashev opened in Batumi which gave a new impetus to the development and dissemination of the Armenian culture and preservation of national traditions.

The outgoing year was probably the most intense one in the modern history of Armenian-Georgian relations full of mutual visits and meetings of high-ranking state officials, high-level negotiations, and reached agreements on a number of important issues of mutual interest. As a result of these negotiations, positive progress has been noted in Armenian-Georgian relations in different spheres.

 Dear Compatriots,

I believe that our present activity will guarantee a secure life for the coming generations. We should do our utmost to ensure that our children live in a more prosperous, peaceful and developed country.

Once again I extend to you my warmest greetings.

May coming year bring peace, kindness, love, warmth, strength and creative mind to serve our nation, our motherland and Armenians scattered throughout the world.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
